Meghni poised to join Qatar championship

Jaish Al Qatari club plans to enrol Algeria’s international player and Lazio’s midefielder Mourad Meghni in the next season, Qatar’s Raya newspaper said on Thursday.

• The deal is estimated at $6 million to $8 million, according to the newspaper.

• Those news come to confirm the intention of many Algerian international players to play in Qatar’s championship which has become their favourite destination.

• Meghni on Thursday resumed trainings with his Italian team Lazio after he had recovered from an injury in the thigh.
