Meghni to join Qatari al-Jaish next season

Algeria ace Mourad Meghni has left on Monday the Qatari capital Doha to Italy, after meeting officials of al-Jaish club who are keen to sign him next season.

• The Lazio midfielder is waiting for the outcome of medical diagnostic Meghni subjected in Qatar, before making official the deal.
• A source told Echourouk that the transfer of Meghni to the Qatari al-Jaish is a matter of time, as the two parties have reached an initial deal, pending agreeing on the contract term. While al-Jaish want to sign Algeria ace a two-year contract, the latter seek a year-deal.
• The source added that the Qatari club proposed initially 5 million euros on Lazio, before bringing it up to 6 million. The two clubs agreed on a two year deal, while the midfielder is still determined on one year transfer.
• Mourad Meghni arrived to Doha on Saturday night coming from Rome.
