Mohamed Aissa: “Algerian Imams Are The Most In-Demand Worldwide”

Algerian imam are very active in Europe, by virtue of the number of missions that are organized by the Religious Affairs Ministry to the mosques that are scattered across the world, Minister said Religious Affairs Minister, Mohamed Issa, said on the sidelines of the visit to Oran, on Thursday.

“Algerian imams have three important characteristics; the science, ethics and moderation, which makes them most in demand by the Muslim communities worldwide, and most of that there is considerable number of foreign students who want to graduate from Dar Imamate (house of imam) in Algiers.”

‘A large number of Russian students joined Dar Imamate, and Africans and even Americans, because Algeria created a new branch of Master in the Imamate”.

“An agreement is concluded between the Religious Affairs and Higher Education Ministries, that allows the creation of new specialization for imamate at the University of Ahmed Ben Bella in Oran (western Algeria), to strengthen Algeria and the Arab world with qualified imams qualified to spread awakening and enlightenment. I inaugurated a body for Iqraa (reading) at the level of the mosque pole of Abdul Hamid Ibn Badis, and the second was inaugurated in Blida, and these Imamates will be created in the other provinces to establish a national committee for Iqraa (reading) which aimed at ensuring the correct recitation, graduation of students who are skilled in the recitation to compete most reciters in the Arab world”.
