Mohamed Aissa: “There Is No Mercy With Ahmadiyya in Algeria”

“Our services are working in coordination with the security services to besiege atonement and destructive ideas in Algeria. Algeria has made an effort in the mosques and the media in order to defend the Algerian national reference, the imams had contacted the victims of the Ahmadiyya and most of them have repented, and returned to their senses, and soon a meeting between the ministry frames and some people who were involved in the subject will be organized, to show them the seriousness of what they did, because the issue is not a game or a business deal or a visa or status abroad, but the subject is related to the intellectual security which has a direct impact on the Algerians’ reference”.

Regarding the controversy about the imposition of the Saudi Arabia tax “SR 2000” on Algerian who are wishing to perform Hajj and Umrah, the minister refuted all the statements that talked about the cancellation of this tax, saying, “I have not received any correspondence from the Saudi authorities about the cancellation of SR 2000 tax”, adding: “The Saudi Ministry of Hajj is not responsible for the abolition of the tax, which was decided at the origin by the Saudi Council of Ministers, and on this basis our services inform its counterpart in Saudi Arabia about the impact of this new tax on the purchasing power of the Algerian pilgrims and Umrah performers”.
