Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Mohamed Issa, refutes the rumors which said that “The Zionist entity’s media welcomes the decree on the conditions of Adhan, as paving the way for the elimination of religious life in Algeria.”

He confirmed, in an article that was published on his official Facebook page, that he “applies the noble Sunnah through the decree on the conditions of Adhan” in response to criticism against him after issuing a decree on how to perform the Adhan in Algerian mosques, as he was accused of “seeking to restrict the Adhan similar to what is happening in the occupied Palestinian territories by the occupation authorities.”

Mohamed Issa wrote in his publication; “My brothers advised me to publish what reassured people and explain the ministry’s decision regarding the Adhan, after some of the pens conveyed a distorted picture of me and claimed that the ministry ordered the banning of the Adhan, and others said that it ordered to reduce its voice in the morning prayer, and one of the politicians described the decision as Netanyahou’s bad decision, who prevented the Adhan in Jerusalem in the night prayers, and the third of the altars was falsely claiming that the press of the Zionist entity praised the decision because it paves the way for the destruction of religious life in Algeria”.

“Regardless of what happened to me from people who have not verified the news, I say that every judgment that is contained in the articles of this resolution is a modern text by the prophet with a true impact on the followers, may Allah be pleased with them ..”.

The minister quoted evidence from the honorable Sunnah who said that they are “legitimate evidence of Article 7 of the resolution, which the Kharasoun said that the sons of Zion rejoiced in it.”

“The application of this noble Sunnah in the reality of people is organized by the profession of Adhan and return to its mission and revive it in our lives by obliging the muezzins to improve their voices and control their strength, and I do not think that this pleased the Zionist entity, but I am sure that it worries their followers”.
