Morocco King consoles Algeria as Larbi Belkhir passed away
Morocco’s king Mohammed VI sent a high-level delegation to Algeria led by foreign minister Tayeb Al Fassi Al Fahri to present his condolences to Algerian Ambassador Larbi Belkhir’s family.
- Algerian foreign minister Mourad Medelci and solidarity minister Djamel Oueld Abbas accompanied the Moroccan delegation to the man’s house in Algiers.
- Moroccan foreign minister conveyed a condolences letter from the King Mohammed IV to the retired Major General’s widow. He said the Arab and Maghrebin nation lost a faithful man.
- Larbi Belkhir held the position of Algeria’s ambassador to Morocco in 2005-2009.
- His family received a large number of senior state officials, his cousins and friends.
