Mohamed the Sixth, Morocco's King

Morocco’s King Mohamed the Sixth Wednesday spent all the day on his yacht in Saidia Beach, 100 meters away from borders with Algeria. Usually, he spends his annual holidays in Mediek in Morocco.

Saidia town which is named the Blue Pearle is situated 100 meters only away from borders with Algeria. It is one of the most beautiful touristic areas in Morocco.

King Mohamed the Sixth is known for his “crazy” passion for the Mediterranean Sea. He used to spend a part of his holidays on Saidia coasts each year. One of his favourite hobbies is swimming.

Moroccan press Thursday said the King arrived to Saidia Beach on Wednesday’s morning on his yacht.

This comes as an anger wave was triggered in Moroccan towns due to difficult social and economic conditions. Anti-regime protests took place.
