National card service outside the employment conditions
Youth cannot be deprived from employment in the private sector, or self-employed, who did not settle their status towards the national service, as confirmed by Lt.Cl Belmadani Ahmed, director of the Center for National Service in Blida (western Algeria).
During a visit by representatives of the national media to the centre of national service at the 1st military region in Blida, Lt.Cl Belmadani was asked on Monday about the validity of the procedure of preventing young citizens from employment in the private sector, and the free professions, if they will not settle their status towards the national service, but he responded that the document which was distributed tojournalists about the most important key points of the new law does not include this point.
“Most important points that were contained in the new law for national service, in the document, which was distributed to media representatives, show that every citizen has not received the summons and an order of joining it legally, and if he did not join his unit orrefused to receive it, he will be punished, as every citizen who has reached 25 years old, and had not led the duty of medical statistics, anddid not settle his situation towards national service.
