Opposition leader Said Saadi confers with European ambassadors in Algiers
The leader of the opposition party the Rally for Culture and Democracy ( RCD) , Said Saadi has yesterday conferred with a number of European ambassadors here in Algiers at the European Mission HQ in a bid to assess the overall political and socio-economic situation in Algeria.
- The two hour meeting brought together 12 ambassadors from the European Union and 3 delegates. Said Saadi has forwarded an exhaustive report about the domestic affairs, according to his personal view, and blamed the president Bouteflika and his government of oppressing and marginalizing him.
- The leader arrived at the European Mission HQ at around 12 am and met closed-door the ambassadors to forward a dim situation of Algeria to his interlocutors. The psychiatric seems to forget that the time when the European institutions were gathering to issue orders to the Algerian authorities was over.
- This is not the first time that Said Saadi calls on the foreign forces to intervene in the domestic affairs of the country; he has, according to Wikileaks cables, called on the US administration to intervene in Algeria to protect democracy and blamed them for being complacent with the regime in power.
