The Coordination for Freedoms and Transition asked Algerian people for support and solidarity to make a change and force authorities to hold a serious dialogue.

In a press conference, the Coordination’s consultation and follow up committee said it may use the street to expose its message to media.

The Coordination’s leading members believe that Algeria is in a dangerous situation and there is a need for making a change.

Abdelaziz Rehabi, a member, said people should stand by the Coordination for a democratic transition. “Authorities must not seize the opportunity for political purposes.”

“Authorities want to close democracy domain. This would lead to a political vacuum,” he added.

The Coordination criticized the regime and condemned its oppression policy.

Its members warned of taking to the street along with people to express their position and call for change in a peaceful way.

According to the Coordination, the political regime crisis was turned into a national crisis.

“Algeria is experiencing a serious historic turning point while the Republic has become vulnerable because the President is always absent,” it said in a release.
