Algeria’s Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia ordered interior minister Nourredine Badaoui to submit detailed reports about the situation of projects in the country, Echorouk has learnt.

The projects include those, which were frozen by former Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal due to Algeria’s financial situation. The government plans to re-launch them, according to Ouyahia’s action plan.

Badaoui held a meeting with his central executives, few days ago. He gave an instruction to prepare detailed dossiers about all the postponed and ongoing projects.

According to the same sources, the interior minister ordered his executives to speed up the preparation of the dossiers to present them to the Prime Minister.

Badaoui told his executives that those projects have a strong link with people’s daily life, health, education and water.

Earlier last week, Ouyahia presented his action plan to members of Parliament. He caught up some delays experienced due to the financial crisis.

He said schools will be rehabilitated and new schools will be built. Medium-sized projects will be launched in health field and people will be supplied with drinkable water.
