Ouyahia: we will oppose endeavours to sow division among Algerians
The National Liberation Front (FLN) will oppose any political endeavour meant to sow division in the Algerian society. The party will open to all the debates and will be a partner in all the reforms including the political ones, FLN’s leader Ahmed Ouyahia said on Thursday.

Ahmed Ouyahia warned opposition powers against pushing Algeria to be a target for any foreign domination.
Ouyahia tried to confirm that Algeria is different from the rest of the Arab countries. “Algeria experienced its democratic spring before, 20 years ago. It paid a bloody price because of political accounts,” he told the National Assembly.
“My party supports President Bouteflika and the country made important steps. Yet, that does not mean it is a paradise now and it has no problems,” he said.
“We can not hide bureaucracy yoke and the lack of transparency in distributing houses. Our country’s progress can not cover corruption,” he added.
The FLN’s leader said the slogan of his party is neither populism nor demagogy but hope, work and solidarity.
“The administrative corruption and bureaucracy in distributing houses was accompanied by an unexpected price explosion of some food.”
Ouyahia accused the opposition of exploiting social strikes. He admitted that young people are concerned about their future because of unemployment. “We should not forget tens of thousands of families who are suffering from housing crisis.”
