Over 1200 gendarmes to secure summer season in Algeria

Regional group of the National Gendarmerie of Boumerdes (east of Algiers) deployed 1200 gendarmes under the Bleu Plan 2011 to secure summer season in many coastal towns, a security source said here on Wednesday.

This number of gendarmes, including 200 riders, aims to secure a 1600 km coast consisting of 41 beaches including 27 where swimming is allowed, in addition to securing.
