Over 200,000 Biometric ID Cards Are Distributed in 20 Provinces

National Center for Biometric Documents and Records distributed over biometric 200,000 ID cards in 20 provinces, at a time when the process is still going on the rest of the provinces, so that all candidates for baccalaureate 2016 will be able to get their cards before the date of the official exam.

Manager of the National Center for Biometric Documents and Records in Algiers Hamiz, Hassane Boualem, told Echorouk that the BAC exam pupils should forget their fears, because the Interior and local groups Ministry’s services are working day and night to commit to the promise which it gave earlier, to hand over all baccalaureate pupils their biometric identification cards before April 30.

“Until now, over 200,000 ID cards were distributed in Chlef, Bachar, Guelma, Illizi, El Tarf, Tindouf, Souk Aheras, Batna, Skikda, Boumerdes, Tipaza, Ain Temouchent, Tizi Ouzou, Oran, Ain Defla, Relizane, at a time when the operation would end within days in each of Laghouat, Baiadh and Blida, then Ghardaia and other provinces by the next week.

“Unlike what was said by some parties, the process is done in normal conditions and reached 100% in some provinces, and the problems that are faced by the supervisors in the Free BAC Students, especially since it comes with 200,000 BAC candidates whose files requires time and regional coordination with education managers at the local level.”
