Regional Group of the National Gendarmerie in Algiers deployed over 3000 gendarmes in anticipation of Eid al-Adha, where they will oversee the implementation of the security plan to maintain security and tranquility.

Regional Group of the National Gendarmerie in Algeria said in a statement that in anticipation of the day of Eid al-Adha, a security plan was designed to use all material and human resources through the main areas and axes within its regional jurisdiction, through the doubling of observation and inspection points with the intensification of foot and mobile patrols.

The source added that it will take a number of preventive and deterrent measures to combat and curb all forms of illegal trade that some fake traders exploit for quick profit by creating chaotic markets for the sale of cattle, which often distorts the aesthetics of public life and squares.

“Additional patrols and roadblocks will be reinforced through highways or main and secondary axes with the aim of ensuring traffic liquidity with immediate intervention to dismantle bottlenecks when necessary”.

National Gendarmerie called on citizens to take care and caution on the roads and respect the traffic law and abide by the various rules of sound driving, and put at their disposal the green number “free” 55-10 , which is in service 24/24 hours to report any emergency request for help or intervention, and the road website tarik.dz website to request any information about the road network.
