Paris upset with minister Benatallah

French political and media circles are leading a campaign against the Algerian diplomacy, represented in the name of Minister for Foreign Nationals Abroad, Halim Benatallah, who is conducting regular and successful meetings with nationals living in France.

• In fact, well-informed sources revealed to Echorouk that circles inside the French government are “upset” with the meetings of the Algerian minister.
• The French government reportedly wants that minister Benatallah to consult the French Foreign Ministry before holding his meetings with representatives of the Algerian nationals there.
• The sources further added that the aforementioned circles tend to hamper the successful job of the North African minister, in order to favourite the Moroccans, in the context of the hidden conflict over the management of the Mosque of Paris.
