Pilots of Tassili Airlines:” We are eager to work”

The pilots of the airline company “Tassili Airlines” have urged the civil aviation authority linked to the Transport Ministry to deliver a much-awaited exploitation authorization for the planes acquired by their company about a month ago.

• The pilots of the airline company “Tassili Airlines” who made a courtesy visit to the premises of “Echorouk” indicated that brand-new planes acquired by this company over a month ago were still parked on the tarmac of the International Airport of Algiers “Houari Boumedienne”.

• They said in this connection that Tassili Airlines was paying up to 50 thousand dollars a month as parking fees at the level of this airport.

• “This is tantamount to gross money squandering”, they lamented.

• According to them, this flabbergasting situation stems from the non-delivery by the civil aviation Director of an exploitation authorization of these aircraft for the benefit of Tassili Airlines.

• These pilots expressed dismay at such an untoward situation stressing that they were asking neither for salary hikes nor bonuses but their sole demand was to be allowed to work without further prevarication and in appropriate conditions.
