President Bouteflika fired Eleven Governors

The president, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, conducted Thursday at a huge movement in the body of walis( In Algeria, a wāli is the “governor” and administrative head of each of the 48 provinces of the country, and is chosen by the president).

Of the 40 affected by the movement eleven were dismissed after the phrase “called to other duties”, 28 have been transferred and 12 new were appointed.

 Fired Walis (Governors) are:

– HARFOUCHE Noureddine, wali of Tebessa, are to perform another function,

– Meliza Tahar, wali of Skikda, are to perform another function,

– Bentabet Mokhtar, Wali Sidi Bel Abbes, are to perform another function,

– Hamdi Belkacem, Wali Guelma, are to perform another function,

– Malfuuf Ahmed Wali of Ouargla, are to perform another function,

– Sekrane Tahar, wali of Oran, are to perform another function,

– ZIANI Mohamed El-Wali Bayadh, are to perform another function,

– Tifour Boualem, Wali Illizi, are to perform another running, either

– SALHI Djamel Eddine, Mila Wali, known to exert extra data function,

– Fatma Rashid Wali Souk Ahras, are to perform another function,

– KANOUN Hacene, wali of El-Tarf, are to perform another function,

The changes include:

– Mena Mohamed-Salah, Wali M’sila, was transferred to the wilaya of Oum El Bouaghi,

– Hocine Mazouz, wali of Tizi-Ouzou, was transferred to the wilaya of Batna,

– Ahmed Touhami Hammou, wali of Djelfa, was transferred to the wilaya of Bejaia,

– Djar Messaoud, Wali Adrar is transferred to the wilaya of Biskra
