Proposal to impose a curfew in Ghardaia's dangerous areas

Security sources that supervises the conduct of the joint operational centre functions, to solve Ghardaia’s crisis, and has recently taken a number of strict security measures, during the meetings of the joint operational centre for the security forces, a well informed security source told Echorouk.
“Application of a strict security plan to save the system in cities has begun in the current week, where violent incidents occured since the beginning of the current year, in Ghardaia, Berriane, Bannoura and Guerara”.
“Meeting of the fourth military region’s commander, Maj. Gen. Abderazak Cherif, with two representatives of the two parties (Ibadits and Malikis), was an opportunity to highlight a number of new security measures, which came into effect since the beginning of this week”.
“Follow-up movements systems and controlling the oriented escalation of violence in the region was conducted through installing cameras since five months in government buildings and some urban places in the city, as the system gave a great potential for new security forces to resort to declaring a ban of partial curfew system over the limited hours per day in hot zones, in order to prevent the renewed clashes between the population from time to time, to protect the lives of innocent citizens and impose the system with using all means that are available in the field”.
“Judicial Control at Ghardaia Council, referred the files of 42 defendants in the recent violence that occurred on mid-October in the cities of Berriane and Ghardaia, and led to the death of four people, to the Criminal Court to schedule the issue that is mentioned within the upcoming criminal cycle by the beginning of Nov. 9, in the same council”.
