Security forces Friday prevented a march in solidarity with Gaza shortly after the Friday’s Prayer at a mosque in Kouba in Algiers. Protesters were surrounded and prevented from walking. The march was turned into a sit-in at the mosque. Angry people condemned Arab official positions including Egyptian President Al-Sissi’s one. They described him as “Allah’s enemy.”

The security forces blocked all the ways leading to the mosque. Security measures were stepped up around it. People who prayed there were waiting for the man No 2 in the dissolved-Islamic Salvation Front (FIS) Ali Benhadj.

Some skirmishes took place between protesters and security forces which did not use violence. A number of people were arrested and taken to a police car.

President of Algeria’s MSP party Abderezzak Mokri took the floor, saying Arab people is an army to support Gaza.

He criticized authorities for preventing marches in Algeria.

Benhadj said taking to the street is the least thing Algerian people can do to support their brothers in Gaza.

“The Algerian political regime should have allowed people to protest not surrounded them,” he added.

“Oh our brothers in Gaza! Look at us! Algerians are surrounded because they wanted to support you,” he also said.

A real holocaust is happening in Gaza against kids and women.
Israel must pay a high price.International community and world organizations must sue Israel for its delibrate barbarian crimes against civilians in Gaza.Shame on Egypt that is coordinationing with Israel to weaken the resistance in Gaza. Algeria and Arab nations, who are still silent on the carnages that cause the loss of hundreds of lives in brutal way, must take action to stop the Israeli aggression against civilians in Gaza.
