Statements by the European deputy, Rachida Dati, on Saturday, at the Higher School of Journalism and Political Science carried a tone of appeasement to Algeria, following the serious incidents in Laayoun, revealing her voting against the decision by the European Parliament which condemned Morocco, after committing massacres against Sahrawi people in Laayoun.

Rachida Dati joined her voice to that of the Moroccan regime, when she wondered about the pictures of killings shown on television, trying to hide the facts which condemn the European parliament, Spain and the Human Rights Organization. The strangest thing about her comments is those allegations that could not be sane, but expose Dati’s support to the Moroccan regime.

In her reply to Echorouk questions about the possibility of a war in the region between Morocco and Algeria, in light of the Moroccan escalation, Rachida Dati, of a Moroccan father and Algerian mother, said; “There would be no war between the two countries, neither today nor tomorrow, because leaders of both states are aware of such matters”.

The visit by Rachida Dati to Algeria is similar to the task of mediation between Algiers and Rabat, following the condemning of Moroccan violations against the Sahrawi people, and its isolation from the international arena, thing which raised madness of the Moroccan regime.

“Moroccan authorities show their respect towards Algerians”, she added, forgetting the attacks by the king and Moroccan media campaigns against Algeria.
