Ranieri: Slimani and Mahrez should recharge their battery

Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri called on his players including Algerian duo Ryad Mahrez and Islam Slimani to recharge batteries as the Premier League and the other world’s leagues are in break.

Speaking about his team defeat against West Bromwich Albion, Ranieri said the players should recharge batteries.

All it seems, the Algerian international duo would turn a deaf ear to this call as they are expected to go to Nigeria to play against the Super eagles.

Ranieri admitted that the European Champions’ League had a negative impact on the team in the Premier League. “We gave a big importance to the European Champions’ League at the expense of local matches.”
