Regional Organizations Condemn EP’s Interference In Algeria’s Affairs

Pan-African Alliance of Journalists and Jurists Denounces Foreign Interference

The Pan-African Alliance of Journalists and Jurists condemned foreign interference in Algeria’s affairs in a statement that said; “European Parliament is unaware of the nature of the political situation in Algeria on Friday, and its analysis is based on selected reports that were commissioned by non-neutral circles that do not believe in democratic values and human rights”.
“The European Parliament believes in colonial values more than the democratic values and is subject to anti-peoples pressure groups, the statement added.
“European Parliament has not developed its program to serve democracy and human rights in Algeria in particular and Africa in general and has not yet been liberated from the imperial legacy”.
The Pan-African Alliance of Journalists and Jurists confirmed its unconditional support for the Algerian people and the state under its current leadership, supporting every effort to promote stability in Algeria, especially the Presidential Elections of December 12, 2019.

Pan-African Parliament Condemns European Interference In Algeria’s Affairs 

President of the Pan-African Parliament, Roger Nkodo Dang, denounced, on Friday, the European Parliament’s regulation on Algeria.
Algeria Acting Speaker of the National Assembly, Saleh Goudjil, received a phone call from the President of the Pan-African Parliament, Roger Nkodo Dang, who condemned the Regulation of the European Parliament, describing it as blatant and unacceptable interference in the affairs of a sovereign African state.

Parliamentary Assembly for the Mediterranean Supports December, 12 Presidential Elections

The Secretary-General of the Parliamentary Assembly for the Mediterranean (PAM), Sergio Piazzi, expressed his desire to attend the Presidential Elections in Algeria as an observer.
In this regard, the President of the National People’s Assembly, Slimane Chenine, received a letter from the PAM Secretary-General, Sergio Piazzi, stating that the Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean met in Rome on Wednesday with the Italian parliament, and encourages the holding of Presidential Elections that are scheduled for December 12.
