“Renault” Algeria company succeeded in the marketing of 90,182 cars in 2015, to occupy the leadership of the Algerian market for the tenth year in a row, and also ranked first in the Middle East and ninth globally in terms of car sales.

These figures come in under the suffocating crisis that is suffered by the car’s sector last year, which was marked by a sharp decline in sales by 26%, and the bankruptcy of a large number of agents, but “Renault” company was able to cope with the crisis through achieving a record sales that reflect the radicalisation of the French company that was able to market more than 800,000 cars in the Algerian market over 10 years.
In this framework, Renault Algeria company manager, Guillaume Josselin, revealed during a press conference, that Algeria is the only country in which “Renault” was able to achieve the first place in the sales mark, and the second sign was “Dacia”.
“Our company was able to market 49495 Renault cars and 40688 Dacia cars of a total of 90,182 cars that were marketed in 2015, with a share of 35% of the market volume.”
“Dacia Logan car ranked first in terms of marketing, as it is considered the best-selling car in the Algerian market in 2015 of the total 22 115 cars, followed by the “Algerian Symbol” with 18, 600 cars.”
“Renault plan of 2016 is based on strengthening the leadership of Renault and Dacia in the Algerian market, and the success of the consumer loan process with accelerating the pace of Symbol cars’ production in Oran factory (western Algeria), to meet the desire of Algerians, in addition to the cell’s development and after-sales service which is one of the key points to win the customers’ satisfaction, especially as the car represents 40% of “Renault” sales”.
“In light of limiting the import quotas that will not exceed 152,000 cars in 2016, Renault Algeria will focus on increasing the pace of production in the plant of Oued Telilat (western Algeria), with a second model that will be directed for consumer loans, and the new Algerian car will be a Dacia. Renault will focus on many of the new models, which will enter the Algerian market for the first time, which are the new Megan and Talisman. Renault agencies across the country will start receiving the applications for consumer loans before the week end.”
