Rental market noticed crazy increases, poor citizens are the victims

Prices of renting apartments in the Algerian major cities notice a large increase, as increases reached up to 60% sometimes, and although a lot of the residents of tin neighborhoods and fragile buildings benefited in Algiers from the social housing, but many of their children who want to marry this summer, preferred to rent apartments near the neighborhoods in which they lived, what kept the demand for renting larger than the offer.

Like in Algiers, the prices of renting noticed in the inner cities and nearby major cities and regions a remarkable rise, which some people bring it back to the idea of ​​wanting to nail an apartment in the context of social housing, as each member of the family, once married resorted to renting, while others think, that the people of major cities have not been able to live in the new residential neighborhoods away from the atmosphere of the old neighborhoods, what made them resort to renting nearby apartments.

Head of the Federation of Algerian Real Estate Agencies, Abdelkrim Aouidat, told Echorouk, that the demand for rental apartments largely increased compared to the offer, making the “brokers” of the parallel market impose their logic, taking advantage of the embarrassing situation of the tenant.
