Repentant terrorist leader confesses to Echourok

Few days after surrendering himself to the security forces within the framework of the national reconciliation process, the repentant terrorist leader Abdeldjabbar, whose last act was the kidnapping of the old man “Ami Ali” in the small locality of Boughni, Tizi Ouzou ( 100 KM east of Algiers), has met for the first time with Echourok and gave first-hand accounts on the situation of the terrorist organization and the causes behind his adhesion to it in addition to several thrilling issues surrounding the future of the organization.

• His real name is Ahmed Mansouri (34) and was born in the province of Bouira. We met him at home here in Algiers and accepted to take the veil off several issues and gave pertinent accounts.
• Before starting talking about the future prospects of the terrorist organization, “Abdelajabbar” wanted to give the real drives that prompted him to quit his terrorist activities, saying that he did it on deep conviction since the surrendering of the former national leader “ Hassen Hattab” in addition to his parents’ call to give this fake combat.
• He has revealed to Echourok that he was planning to give up his armed activities since six years because he was deeply convinced that he would better serve the reconciliation process from the inside rather than outside through his numerous contacts with former repentant leaders from the Salafit Group.
• He has indicated that he prevented several suicide attacks and never impeached any terrorist who expressed his will to surrender to the security forces from doing it.
• Abdeldjabbar has revealed that “Alfarouk battalion” comprised nearly 80 armed elements dispatched into four divisions that operate from their stronghold in the locality of Boughni stretching through Bouira in the east to Boumerdes in the west in addition to their presence in the forest regions of Kabylia.
• As to the situation prevailing inside the terrorist organization, the repentant has declared that it is about to disintegrate because of the successive strikes of the security forces ” If the strikes on the strongholds continue with the same pace, the organization will disappear within two years at maximum”, he said.
• The organization is living a state of insurgency not seen since his joining the terrorist activities 10 years go due to the lack of technical and financial support and also the absence of “conviction” among the elements.
• He didn’t exclude the eviction of the leader of the organization Droudkel from power by his opponents who are plotting secretly to depose him. Abdeldjabbar was told that the end of the so called Abu Mosaab Abdelouadoud is near.
• To conclude, Abdeladjabbar paid homage to the inhabitants of Boughni ( Kabylia region) who stood as one to free the kidnapped old man “ Ami Ali” saying that their extraordinary surge of solidarity has jolted the terrorists’ confidence, hoping to see the same things in different parts of the country because the terrorists cannot face up to thousands of citizens united for the same combat.
