Russia warns against possible return to Algeria of 27 “Daesh” terrorists operating in Syria

Reliable sources have revealed that the Russian intelligence services, and within the security coordination with Algeria, have provided accurate information, warning against the possible return to Algeria of about 27 terrorists belonging to the so-called “Daesh” terror group now operating in strife-torn Syria.

These terrorists including several Algerians are, according to the same sources, now mainly based in the Syrian Deir Ezzour area.

This possibility of a return to Algeria through an infiltration via the Libyan border of these nefarious terrorists was construed in a statement to “Echorouk” by security expert, Ahmed Mizab, by the fact that the members of the “Daesh” terror organization in Syria are now crumbling under the relentless Russian air strikes and under the scathing blows dealt on the ground by Syrian regular troops, inflicting on them heavy causalities.

He further pointed out that the information provided by Russia is very useful to Algeria, at this stage of the updating of pre-emptive plans in the fight against terrorism out of bounds, with the country fortifying all its border-crossings and airports, and strictly monitoring and screening all those coming to Algeria from Syria and some Arab and Western countries.
