Russians Set To Manufacture Algerian Cars And Helicopters
A delegation of Russian businessmen is currently visiting Algeria with the aim of discussing the prospects and opportunities of partnership between Algeria and Russia in the field of manufacturing cars and helicopters, in the presence of representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Industry and Algerian employers.
The joint partnership committee will be chaired by Minister of Finance Abderrahmane Raouya and Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak.
The joint committee was to conclude its proceedings on Tuesday, after three days of work.
The Algerian chamber of commerce and industry told all the Algerian economic operators in a statement that on the sidelines of the eighth session of the Algerian-Russian joint cooperation committee, a business forum will be organized between the Algerian economic stakeholders and their Russian counterparts on Wednesday September 20th at the “El Aurassi” hotel in upper Algiers.
The aim of the forum is to enable the companies of both friendly countries to identify the fields of industrial companies and examine the possibilities of implementing projects in various fields of endeavor, especially in the sectors of the automotive industry, construction machinery, shipbuilding, helicopter industry, energy industries, electro-technology, industrial security, oil and gas, as well as security systems, communications and agriculture.
