Saudi interior minister and Gulf Princes visit Algeria
Saudi interior minister Prince Nayef Ben Abdelaziz arrived to Algeria Sunday to spend his vacation along with 32 companions.
He was received by the prefect of Ghardaia province (south of Algiers) while his son Prince Mohamed Ben Nayef Al Saoud in Biskra with 19 of his friends. Few days ago, Saudi defence minister was spending his holidays in the same area.
Saudi Princes’ choice to spend holidays in Algeria comes to prove how important the country’s touristy capacities are.
The son of Libya’s leader Muammar El Kaddafi has been in the province of Tlemcen (west of Algiers). He has been used to visit it for years.
A year ago, Lebanese Prime Minister Saad El Hariri preferred to spend his vacation Algeria while a number of Kuwaiti and Emirati Princes are used to come for holidays.
Those visits show that security has been restored in Algeria. Sources say many of those Princes and tourists were looking for possible investment projects for the next few years or months.
