Scarcity of bread due to the bakers' holidays

Bakeries in Algiers noticed these days an overcrowding of citizens in early hours.
Long Queus in bakeries last for two hours or more, while citizens in southern areas, suffer while searching for bread, as some of them feel obliged to buy frozen bread from stores, because most of the bakeries are taking their holidays in August to avoid high temperature.
Echorouk interviwed the Head of National Bakers Federation, Youcef Kalfat, who expressed anger over the situation of bakers in Algeria.
“Problem of electrical reactors that government promised to solve is still hindering the work of bakeries, at a time bakers suffer from the repeated problem of electricity in summer, resulting in large losses, in addition to the lack of the qualified workers.
