Security forces arrest the middleman between Droudkel and Tunisian terrorist group

Algiers’ security forces have arrested one of the recruits operating in terrorist groups following intelligence collected by their services. The man is born in 1972 in the western parts of the country.

• The criminal has revealed to the investigators that he was in touch with a Tunisian terrorists nicknamed “ Abu Mounir Tunsi” who informed him that a group comprising 10 Tunisians operating with him seek to meet the leader of the Salafit Groupo for Call and Combat, Abu Mosaab Abdelouadoud, known as “Droudkel”.

• The mission of the arrested terrorist, according to sources, consisted in assisting the Tunisians in their movements from the eastern to the central regions of the country and assuring their security until reaching Droudkel’s central command

• The investigators kept secret the identity of the terrorist for obvious security reasons.
