Security Services Seize 124 kg of Cannabis Western Algeria
Security services of Meghnia seized, on Thursday evening, over 123.9 kg of Cannabis that was smuggled from Morocco, Telemcen Communication Security Directorate (western Algeria) said.
APS quoted the representative of the cell as saying that, after the information that reached the same authority, about the determination of drug dealers to smuggle a significant amount of drugs across the border, and transfer it from Bab El Assa area to the city of Meghnia (western Algeria), security services controlled the road that links between the two cities and seized a car on board of which there was “T.A.K”,22, and it carried five parcels of toxins.
“After transferring the car to the security headquarters, and arresting the driver, security services opened an investigation to find out the trafficker’s partners.”
Regional services for combating illegal drugs and psychotropic substances, seized, on last Wednesday, over 231 tablets of hallucinatory drugs of the type “Ecstasy”, and arrested four people who were trafficking in such drugs in a car near Meghnia, according to the same source, which confirmed that an investigation has been opened to find out the gang’s partners.
