Sellal orders to transfer mines personnel to industry ministry

Two instructions given by Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal earlier in June and September to transfer mines personnel the industry ministry have not been applied so far. This caused long queues next to mines departments at the ministry due to suspended technical test.

Earlier in 2014, President Abdelaziz Bouteflika conducted a reshuffle by separating the energy and mines ministry and joining mines departments to the industry ministry.

According to sources at the industry ministry, the instructions were supposed to solve problems and eliminate hindrances in terms of technical test.

This situation led to dissatisfying public services in most of Algeria’s provinces.
