Seminar on support of local employment initiatives in Algiers

ALGIERS- The seminar on the support of local employment initiatives in Algeria has got underway Monday in Algiers.

Organized by the National Agency for Employment (ANEM) and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), the meeting is part of the implementation of the agreement concluded between the two parties on the support of local employment initiatives, signed on 27 September 2010.

The four-day seminar aims at enabling the Algerian agencies concerned to get acquainted with international experiences, especially of Spain, in involving local players in the implementation of local employment initiatives.

It also aims at informing and training local players of the two pilot provinces (Blida and Ain Temouchent) on active employment initiatives, strategies of intervention in pilot provinces and the coordination of local players.
