Senior security officials to present Algeria’s experience in countering terrorism
Spanish interior ministry is expected to organise an international conference in the next few days about the threats of Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb on Europe to put security strategies.
- Policemen, gendarmes, judges, attorneys general from Algeria, Mauritania, Mali, Niger and Senegal will attend the conference, the Spanish news agency reported.
- The Algerian security agents are expected to make a presentation of their large experience in fighting terrorism and organised crime.
- Western countries recognise Algeria’s experience in countering terrorism. It was the first nation which called for fighting the phenomenon worldwide.
