Seven million Algerians visit ADDL website
Seven million Algerians tried to visit the AADL website to choose their house locations although the number of applicants for housing program is estimated at 442,000.
An alarm state was triggered after the AADL website had been launched. Applicants who subscribed in 2013 were stuck to their computers at around 8 p.m. on Monday to choose their house locations.
According to figures from the housing ministry, the number of applicants who chose their house locations reached 37,000. The selection process includes in the first place 129,000 applicants. Of them, 40,000 applicants are in Algiers.
Press attaché at the housing ministry Ahmed Madani said access to the AADL website is difficult due to the huge number of visitors. “Most of them are just curious.”
He told Echorouk applicants who lost their password can go to Mohamed Boudiaf Olympic Complex on Wednesday to recover it.
