Social partners want to examine Algeria new health code in detail

Most of social partners did not want to make an anticipated decision about the new health code. They postponed it until all its clauses are examined. The deadline to submit suggestions was fixed for October 15th.

President of the Public Health National Federation Benmiloud Benmessaoud criticized the health ministry for ignoring social partners’ opinion.

“Because of that, the code is just for form. Yet, we will examine it and give our opinion within few days,” he told Echorouk on the phone.

President of Health Personnel’s National Federation Amar Lakehal said consultation and local meetings will be held. Remarks will be collected and submitted to the minister after the deadline.

“The health code is important to everyone. Because of that, we take time to examine it,” he said.
