Sonatrach’s Tassili Airlines acquired a Boeing 737-800
Tassili Airlines has received on Monday in Algiers a Boeing 737-800, the first of four aircrafts order.
- CEO of Tassili Airlines, Salah Boultif, said his company to receive the second aircraft from Boeing next April 16, while the two others planes are to be delivered as by next August and September. Tassili Airlines tends to become the second largest air company in Algeria, after Air Algeria, noting that its fleet has been brought up to 27 aircrafts, following Monday delivery. Tassili Airlines is a subsidiary firm of hydrocarbons giant Sonatrach.
- M.Boultif further specified that the deal amount is estimated at 288.4 million USD, i.e. 48 million USD for each of the four aircrafts.
- Tassili Airlines’ CEO has announced such a deal during ceremony organized at this occasion in Algiers, and attended by Minister of Energy and Mines, Youcef Yousfi, Minister of Transport, Amar Tou, CEO of Sonatrach Noureddine Cherouati, and CEO of Air Algerie, Abdelouahid Bouabdellah.
