Spanish authorities arrest two Algerians on charges of organizing journeys for illegal immigrants

The Spanish police arrested two Algerians here on Wednesday morning on charges of organizing journeys for illegal immigrants from Oran shores at the beginning of the week for sums of money.

An Algerian source in Almeria told Echorouk that the two Algerians are “A.B.M” 44 and “R.A” 28, arrested following investigation by the Spanish police after the arrival of their boat last Sunday morning to the region of “Capo De Gata” on the outskirts of the city Almeria, carrying 10 Algerian illegal immigrants; news which was reported by Echorouk at that time, showing that they started their journey from Oran costs.

Echorouk sources asserted that interrogation of ten Algerians shows that the organizers of this illegal journey were victim of a betrayal of other illegal immigrants who were on board of the boat, noting that the two men get 1000 Euros for each person, in addition to equipping the boat with water, gasoline, food and a GPS device for identifying positions.
