Investigations showed that the crash of a Spanish plane Air Algerie was mainly due to bad weather as the pilot and his crew asked for help and announced they would change course, French newspaper Le Figaro reported on Sunday citing a senior security official.

According to the same source, the accident may not have been caused by a terrorist attack neither by a technical problem. The French aviation authority announced that the plane was examined few days before the incident.

A weather forecasting website in Mali posted an image about the storm which was hitting border area between Burkina Faso and Mali.

New York Times newspaper reported that strong storms hit northern Mali causing considerable damage.

Are you sure it's a picture of AH5017 crash site, and a piece of this plane? Not at all the same landscape, the picture seems to have been photoshopped, and this part of the plane has not been found by investigators at the moment. I don't understand.
