Supporting modernization in public media, professionalism in private media, Communication Minister, Hamid Guerine says

In a meeting with the General Manager of APS, Abdelhamid Kacha, he asserted; “My project is to accompany the public media in its aspiration to modernity, especially APS, which holds a lot of projects that I support completely, as well as bring professionalism to the private media.” 

“This endeavor will be achieved through the establishment of a certain number of structures that started actually by installing a temporary committee to deliver professional card of journalists. There will be also the authority of controlling the audiovisual sector and other private written press and the Committee of the written press, as well as the Board of Ethics. These authorities can contribute to the improvement of media and controlling them, to make them more professional.” 

“Our ministerial department is currently working on these projects, which will be realized in 2015, and which will be accompanied with training courses that are launched in Algiers, with devoting sessions to media that are specialized in investigations, and which will continue soon in Oran and Constantine to ensure regional media.”
