Suspension Of Visa Dates To Spain Indefinitely
Spain’s visa reservations through its consulates in Algeria and Oran were suspended indefinitely due to the huge demand that exceeded the company’s scheduling capabilities, just a few days after the new entry-into-date procedures entered into force.
“The booking process was suspended for an indefinite period of time”, said a statement by BLS, an Indian company charged with collecting files and granting visa dates.
The company’s statement, published on its official Web site that due to the large demand for the visa, payments to the timing bank was suspended, noting that the suspension would be for a different time.
It added that the company will announce the resumption of payment of timings with banks when the payment is outstanding.
General Consulate of Spain in Algeria and the “BLS” International (the company responsible for receiving the application files) announced the amendment of the process of booking the dates for the application for a visa to Spain as from last October 5.
Spanish General Consulate in Algeria, which copy was received by Echorouk, said that “BLS International”, in cooperation with the Algerian People’s Loan Bank, introduced a new procedure to help real travelers through facilitating the scheduling and avoiding fraudulent use.
“Prior to booking an online appointment on the BLS International website in Spain, applicants are required to pay the BLS International service fee to the nearest Algerian People’s Loan Agency”.
This amount will be deposited on the bank account of “BLS International” as follows: 004 00174 4000029582 Key 19, and the bank grants the applicant a receipt for each payment.
This link contains a serial number, and this number will be considered as a reference number for appointment bookings on the website of “BLS International”: https://algeria.blsspainvisa.com/arabic/index.php
The problem lies in the fact that citizens who contacted Echorouk wanted to get an appointment to the bank in order to pay the rights and the reference number. However, when they tried to enter the BLS website, they were unable to do so, as the site opens for a few hours and is closed again.
According to these citizens, the payment arrived and the reference number is limited (8 days only) and many of them, especially the families, paid money to obtain the reference number and could not get the date through the website “BLS”.
BLS website also published a second statement warning of the sale of counterfeited fake dates, and asked their owners to check the details of the dates and confirm them on the BLS website.
The Company stated that it is not responsible for any loss or refusal arising on the basis of these counterfeit dates, and other appropriate measures will be taken whenever any excessive or illegal use is detected.
