Swindler traps his victims in a public place

The gendarmerie elements of the province of Medea, have arrested last week end two brothers accused of illicitly garnering money by luring youngsters seeking for banks’ loans and rural houses notices.

• The culprits were swindling their victims by making them believe that they were able to settle their cases in record time contending that they had privileged relations with top managers in various banks and other administrations, with huge amounts of money in return for their services.

• The investigators have received information that a suspicious individual was collecting dossiers from citizens at a café in the city center promising them to facilitate access to banks loans in a very short period of time.

•  

• In the event of this information, they have moved to the place where the man used to collect the dossiers and arrested him red-handed in the possession of 15 dossiers. The man ( 37) is day labourer who succeeded to strip distressed citizens seeking credits to finance their small projects from their meagre savings.
