Tassili Airlines to sell tickets for all Algerian categories
Tassili Airlines got the license to internal and international transport and will sell tickets for all Algerians and not only for Sonatrach workers, Syndicate of Algerian Pilots told Echorouk.
The syndicate asserted that Tassili fleet composed of 16 planes, including two last generation planes created by the global company Boeing, able to transport 600.000 travelers in 47 trips.
“The company is able to sell tickets to all Algerians at the lowest cost; even it comes to the costs of transporting pilgrims to Mecca”, Head of the syndicate Othman Sahban asserted.
Same syndicate accused the Ministry of Transport of transferring its new “Boeing” planes to retire intentionally, subjecting the company to a forced vacation, although it cost 200 million Euros in favor of Air Algerie which intends to renew its contract with Sonatrach next July.
“The Ministry of Transport licensed the use of old Canadian “Bombardier” planes, but does not authorized the use of the new “Boeing” planes in order to launch special flights for Sonatrach workers fearing competition “, he added.
The syndicate asked governing to clear the monopoly on internal and international transport exercised by Air Algerie.
