Terrorism: Algerian forces eliminate two terrorists east of Algiers

Algerian forces eliminated, on Thursday, two terrorists and retrieved their Kalashnikovs in the forest of Mizrana, east of Algiers.

 

• The process followed information received by the security services about suspected movement of terrorist groups in the region. Security forces condoned off the place before entering into an armed clash with terrorists and killed a terrorist 36, who is not yet identified, and another 25.

• Their dead bodies have been transferred to the morgue of hospital pending their identification. During the clash, another terrorist surrendered handing over his Kalashnikov.

• During another military operation on Wednesday night, armed forces eliminated a terrorist in the forest of Sidi Ali Bounab between Ennasiria and Tadmait, east of Algiers, after monitoring suspicious movements in the stronghold.

• Security services strengthened control on terrorist groups in the central areas, especially in Algiers, Boumerdes, Tizi Ouzou and Bouira, where combing operations targeting terrorists.

• The new security plan succeeded in eliminating many terrorists, 12 by last month.
