Terrorism: Maj. Gen Guaid Salah announced on the preparation of large counterterrorism military operations

Commender of the Algerian National People’s Army Staff, Defense Minister deputy, Maj. Gen. Ahmed Guaid Saleh, announced on the preparation of large military operations that aim to thwart attempts to revive terrorism, asserting that he is satisfied with efforts of the military institution.

He said, in a congratulation letter to the Defense Ministry’s Staff,  on the occasion of Eid al Adha, that was published on its website; “We urge you to show more vigilance, courage, sacrifice and hard work, to foil every terrorist attempt to revive terrorism and prepare the launch of continuous extermination of this phenomenon.”

In his evaluation of counterterrorism efforts, he added; “I take this opportunity to express satisfaction of the significant efforts that are done by everyone of you in order to perform the tasks with control, discipline and professionalism, reflecting high sense of national duty, awareness and readiness to defend the country and its stability. I encourage you to adopt good behavior and continue working on enhancing unity and security to protect our beloved nation. Finally I call upon all levels of responsibility to show more readiness to protect our people during the celebration of this holy Eid in an environment of peace and security.
