Judicial file of a terrorist group implicated in supporting terrorists of “Ennour Battalion” has revealed that terrorists active in Tizi Ouzou, east of Algiers, had contacts with illegal immigration groups across the Moroccan borders and Telemcen, West of Algeria, in order to secure their entry and control security forces to facilitate their movements.

The criminal court postponed Monday’s trail of thirteen youngsters, including a student, a volunteer teacher in Al Badr mosque, on charges of supporting terrorism, eight of them are in solitary jail and the rest are still free, and face charges of joining and financing terrorist groups, carrying firearms and explosives.

Security services arrested the terrorist back up cell after receiving information about a meeting of terrorists in the region of Tagounit and Ain Hammam, Tizi Ouzou, east of Algiers, on February 12, 2009. Same services arrested the accused “A.Y” brother of a terrorist in the region of Ouad Aissa in Tizi Ouzou, east of Algiers, then arrested another on board of his car type “Maruti”, a member of the military body at Ennour Battalion, according to the judicial file, and were accompanied by his elderly aunt in order to mislead security men. Security services retrieved two Kalashnikovs, sixty cartridges, and a talkie-walkie, that were directed to the same terrorist battalion.

Some accused have been implicated in terrorism several times, and some have been sentenced to 10 years in prison, then they benefited from the Charter of Peace in 2006, one was sentenced to five years in prison, and another was implicated in theft, assault and terrorism.

All facts of the judicial proceedings are about the accused “A.Y” who is active in a terrorist group that includes his brother, as he expressed his support to the terrorist group with ammunition and recruitment of new elements, then he created the backup cell saying that the terrorist group asked him to arrange the way for terrorists across the Moroccan-Algerian borders.

Brother of “A-Y” also a terrorist, benefited twice from the Charter of Peace and Reconciliation, however he joined once again terrorism and asked his brother to monitor movements of the so called “Djamel”, member of a back up cell, but it was late because this latter provided security services with information leading to the arrest of twelve terrorists in an ambush in Beni Douala, Tizi Ouzou, thing which pushed terrorists to plan to kill him with a gendarme, who is cousin of a terrorist.

The accused acknowledged that they e-mailed terrorists in order to avoid control on mobile phones. However, the accused Koran teacher promised the terrorist groups to provide more recruitment to join terrorism, especially among his pupils in the mosque.
