Terrorism: Two killed in a suicide bombing east of Algiers
Two people were killed and several wounded in Algeria Wednesday when a suicide bomber drove a vehicle packed with explosives into a military convoy, local newspapers and websites reported.

The attack took place near the settlement of Zemmouri, about 40 km (25 miles) east of the capital in a region that has traditionally been an insurgent stronghold.

Algerian security forces killed 10 terrorists in the same area last week.

The violence has been reduced dramatically in the past few years, but the terrorists still mount sporadic attacks.
