Terrorism:Five soldiers killed by roadside bombs on a military operation

Five military troops of the Algerian Popular Army died the day before yesterday and more than ten others were injured when a string of bombs exploded in the forest of “Bounaamane” in the region of Zekri, Tizi Ouzou in the kabylia region.

• Corroborating sources have indicated that the terror act came after a series of combing operations carried out by the military forces in the surrounding forests since more than a week.

• Numerous homemade bombs exploded the day before yesterday early in the morning on a rugged way at the passage of the military troops. The wounded elements were transferred to a nearby hospital by helicopter to receive treatment.
