The British Council To Publish English Courses On Echorouk, Cooperation

Echorouk and the British Council have extended the cooperation agreement to publish English courses on the newspaper.

 

 

This cooperation started in 2009 and lasted one year (until 2010), during which a range of English courses with a set of questions had been published on the columns of Echorouk, and at the end of the year several gifts were allocated to winners, including i-pods, Play Station sets, MP3 readers and a Laptop .

Speaking at the signature ceremony held at Echorouk office, Director of the British Council, Jeremy Jacobson, revealed that the big prize of this year edition consists in an exploration trip and a laptop.

Mr Jacobson added that the stories which the British Council have been publishing in the UK, so far, have contributed to curb hooliganism phenomenon among football fans, helped youngsters to avoid delinquency and encouraged girls to practice football.

He further added that those significant stories contributed also in cubing racism in British football. 

 In this regard, Director of BC revealed that the majority of foreign players, African included, who joined the Premier League said in interviews with the British Council that they enjoy living in England, given that racism disappeared there 30 years ago. 

CEO of Echorouk, Ali Foudhil said he is proud that the newspaper contributes in teaching the most popular language worldwide: English.
